OK so I’ve been slipping on and off with watching Lee Minho’s newest Drama “City Hunter” and OMG I cannot get enough of it I’ve watched a couple of episodes now and it’s more exciting.

Junpyo, Yi Jung, WooBin and Jihoo

Yes it is true the highly watched korean drama “Boys over Flowers” has finally come to an end what started out as a 24 episode drama ended up with one more episode marking the end at 25. The story begins when an average girl named Jandi saves a students life from ending at the prestigious “Shinhwa” high school, but what makes this drama so interesting is her acceptance into the school and the very moment she meets F4 and creates a romance with the leader Gu Junpyo. The drama continues with the romance and also romances of the other men in the show, this drama probably will never be forgotten because of the intensifying plots that occured in every episode, as the final episode drew near fans saw things they never expected. Jihoo reunites with his grandfather, Junpyo loses his memory of Jandi and regains it back in the end, but the best ending to have for this drama was the 4 years later plot, in the earlier scenes of episode 25 we see Junpyo regaining his memory of Jandi just as he is about to leave for the states to study with a girl who “claims” she’s his girlfriend. Eventually Junpyo remembers everything and all things go back to normal, the most romantic ending is the proposal, episode 25′s last scene is every girls dream proposal on the beach at sunset, and in the end rejoining friends looking out the the ocean. If you are not a fan but have been off and on watching this drama then here’s something to know just keep watching it because it gets more juicy.

Super Junior has made the big once again! The groups newest and very addicting song “Sorry Sorry” has taken the number one music spots on various programs Music Bank, Music Core and SBS Popular Song, there is no stopping these 13 talented and very attractive men. Tears of joy flowed when their very first win came about and the reward was very much well deserved, after months of hardwork and dedication the new album and refreshed group returned to the very stages where fans endlessly scream and cheer in excitement and happiness. No words can describe how important these moments are but when they come it’s well worth it.

In the past few weeks of their triumphant return Super Junior has hit their comeback with high expectations exceeded, upon the comeback they returned to even more screaming fans and joyous praise, the 13 member group’s newest song “Sorry Sorry” is a keeper on their comeback on March 13th their 3rd album also had been released that very same day. The music video itself is something to definitley watch as the all male group shows more dancing and has their image upgraded, the boys debuted in 05 with just 12 members but adding one more to make 13 in the summer of 06 and the group became permanent. In 05 the group kept a cute and simple image, however shedding that upon their return with 13 members soon after with a sexy side in “U” continuing over the next 2 years with sub groups K.R.Y, Trot, and M. Soon it was back to the studio to make a comeback and as of this month of March the return came, a still sexy but edgier side of Super Junior has now emerged among all the members with even more dance and more vocal feel to their image. With their comeback all said and done more exciting things are definitley coming.

Where in the world is Ayumi???

Since debuting in the group Sugar to going solo Korean/Japanese singer Ayumi Lee is very popular however, since her solo debute she has gone away from the spotlight…. however no one know to where. After her contract with her previous company ended she signed a new contract with popular company SM Entertainment, the one question was what to expect when she comes out with a new album and image concept. The only time people saw Ayumi however was back in 2005-06 summer away from her old cute and bubbly image and into a slimmer and slightly suprising image. Fans were shocked to see Ayumi not in the way she used to be and many were angry that her image had changed, yet that’s what they got and after the summer album ended she has not been seen or heard from it is very questionable that she is going to come out soon no news has been out pertaining to Ayumi’s comeback. So the full length question is WHERE is she and WHAT is happening with her???

2009 March 13th Super Junior Comeback

It has finally arrived on the 13th of March Super Junior went to the stage of KBS Music bank with their third album and title track “Sorry Sorry”, the long awaited moment was greeted by huge mass of screaming and cheering fans plus a lot of singing together. Also the album release was also the same day according to other sources so fans have been on the fronts of buying the album from the stores that had them and some ordered online from different sites a top site to go find all the music is yesasia.com a very successful and highly reliable site for buying music from Kpop to Jpop by the way. Super Junior went back on stage performing two songs “Why I like you” and “Sorry Sorry” sporting new hair styles and brand new dance moves the fans are no doubt excited and happy to see all 13 together on the stage again. What to expect next is more performances and hopefully soon a music video to follow for now take in the moment of excitement and if your a E.L.F like myself listen to the music over and over cause it never gets tiring Super Junior Fighting!!

April and May release from JYP

it has been made official by popseoul that JYP’s male groups 2AM and 2PM are making their comeback withing the next 2 months 2AM is known for their ballad voices and first made their debute a few months later 2PM hit the stages, it is much expected that 2PM especially will be returning with a new flair and still with their acrobatic hip-hop style. 2AM is expected to release their newest and latest album in April as for 2PM their comeback is set for mid to late May no set dates are released yet but fans are highly anticipating the return the seven member group of 2PM debuted with their song “10/10″ showing their acrobatic style and flair and then released a more softer side to themselves with their 2nd single “Only You” however due to low cd sales JYP decided it was time to bring them back in and work on their next single album and bring the group back out with a big hit. 2AM is known for their soft ballads and very strong voices but similar to 2PM their status was not as well known and sales were not as strong thus after a few shows and variety appearances they headed back into the studio and are currently preparing for a great comeback. With both groups in the studio anticipation and excitement is to be expected upon the groups returns.

March 2009 less than a week away, Super Junior has set their comeback indefinitley for March their concept as they have kept it from their single “U” and “돈 돈!” is sexy concept it is no doubt they have kept up with that image for other artists they go back and forth from cute to sexy. However for the loved 13 member group sexy is their new and unchanged image, for the fans it is an anticipated wait in the meantime other groups have made a return to the scene SS501 has made a sub-group for the time being right now since members JungMin and HyunJoong are busy with musicals and dramas. Leader Kim Hyun Joong is currently in the popular hit drama “Boys over Flowers” as one of the four male leading roles and the sexy charisma that is Park JungMin has taken THE sexy role in the musical “GREASE” as Danny Zucko. With the two of them in busy schedules the remaining members YoungSaeng, KyuJong and Hyung Joon have remained with the music in a subgroup keeping the groups name SS501 the three members have made a short cameo appearance in Hyun Joong’s drama as well as sing two songs on the OST. The multi-talented five member group FT Island has made their comeback onto the stage in the past two weeks and fans already are excited each performance. With the new member Seung Hyun on stage the band has reclaimed their status indefinitley, FT Island will continue with their comeback and hopefully with new songs to follow the fans will hear Seung Hyun’s rapping in the songs.

KPOP news for Now

Well in the recent weeks of posting and all that good stuff I will be taking a break from the news scene until further notice I am currently in school so HW and other things is taking a bit of my time other than that I should be back real soon with updates of the Kpop world. However for one last touch of music 2009 has had a return already contemporary band F.T Island has returned on the music chart with a new video “Bad Woman” or in Korean is read ” 나쁜여자야 ” sadly there has been some sadness along the way. Member Oh Won Bin has departed from the beloved group due to musical differences prior to preparing for the comeback Won Bin was known for being part of the vocals and also a guitarist since the groups debute. For the members they wish him all the best already they found a new guitarist Song Seung Hyun he is very goodlooking and we should see great things from him, in the band’s video he is there already playing and making his way into the business. We can also see the returning members with new hairstyles cutie boy member Lee JaeJin and lead vocal Lee HongKi have updated their styles JaeJin with the short hair look no longer with his long shoulder length locks. HongKi however has kept his long style but has changed it with curls and shaping, other members Choi Jong Hun and Choi Minhwan have kept their same hair styles, whatever the case these boys are back and better than ever. Although all members are young in age ranging from ages 16 to 20 there is a lot to expect this up coming year with a tour in Japan currently underway we hope to see them back in Korea rocking the stages and continually securing their ever growing fanbase.

What’s happened to Boys over flowers!?!?

yes it is all true over the recent weeks since filming “Boys over flowers” began cast members have been involved in serious accidents majority of the accidents are due to vehicle issues but luckily no one has been severly injured could this be means of a bad time to create the drama or just strange things for the new year. However on the positive side BOF has hit very well on the ratings since the beginning of debute the watched drama rose to the number one spot in ratings but soon got bumped off by another drama. Although despite the bump the show is still watched especially by the younger audiences, the cast are all aged in their earliest 20′s thus fan base is younger generations with singer Kim Hyun Joong from SS501 in the cast as one of the leading males the attention definitley has been turned. These days with new actors and singers hitting the spotlight this year surely will come to full attention as new faces and dramas continue to hit the screens both small and big the fans will definitley draw to it. The one question does come to mind however is this young generation the “IT” factor in the industry or is it just the way things go in life, however with different dramas are the seniors those who have been in the business before and respect goes a long way. As the year progresses we will see more young faces in the celebrity light and also the respected and highly acclaimed faces of the seniors.
